Its special to be ordinary....

This Message made my day... Do read it...

1. Name the 5 wealthiest people in the world..

2.Name the last 5 winners of Ms. Universe..

3.Name the last 10 people who won the Nobel prize..

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remembers the headlines of yesterday..

Even though these people must be the best in their fields...applause dies, awards are tarnished and achievements are forgotten...!!

Here's another quiz...let's see how this goes:

1.Name 5 teachers who aided your journey through school..

2.Name 5 friends who helped you through difficult times..

3.Name 5 ppl who taught you something worthwhile..

4.Name 5 ppl who make you feel special..

5.Name 5 ppl you enjoy spending time with..

The people who make a difference in your life are NOT the ones with most awards and loads of money..

Life is full of ordinary people who have made the world a better place for you..!

Cherish them!!!

Hold them tight!!!

Perhaps Sometimes its special to be ordinary...

Why the Inside Matters....

I opened a conversation with a bright young fellow of about twelve who was sitting in the front row.

“If I were to squeeze this orange as hard as I could, what would come out?” I asked him.

He looked at me like I was a little crazy and said, “Juice, of course.”

“Do you think apple juice could come out of it?”

“No!” he laughed.

“What about grapefruit juice?”

“What would come out of it?”

“Orange juice, of course.”

“Why? Why when you squeeze an orange does orange juice come out?”

He may have been getting a little exasperated with me at this point. “Well, it’s an orange and that’s what’s inside.”

I nodded. “Let’s assume that this orange isn’t an orange, but it’s you. And someone squeezes you, puts pressure on you, says something you don’t like, offends you. And out of you comes anger, hatred, bitterness, fear. Why? The answer, as our young friend has told us, is because that’s what’s inside.”

It’s one of the great lessons of life. What comes out when life squeezes you? When someone hurts or offends you? If anger, pain and fear come out of you, it’s because that’s what’s inside. It doesn’t matter who does the squeezing—your mother, your brother, your children, your boss, the government. If someone says something about you that you don’t like, what comes out of you is what’s inside. And what’s inside is up to you, it’s your choice.

When someone puts the pressure on you and out of you comes anything other than love, it’s because that’s what you’ve allowed to be inside. Once you take away all those negative things you don’t want in your life and replace them with love, you’ll find yourself living a highly functioning life.

You've just got to take each person for what they are..

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.

One of the pots had a crack in it, while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house."

The old woman smiled, "Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?"

"That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them."

"For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.

Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house."

Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.

So, to all of my crackpot friends, have a great life and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!

Don't let the Cups drive you...

Group of ex students visited their University Professor.
Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in life. Offering them coffee, Prof returned from kitchen with a pot of coffee in different cups: Porcelain, Glass, Crystal, some plain looking, some expensive. When all had a cup of coffee in hand.

# Professor said:
If U noticed all d expensive cups were taken up first, leaving d plain ones. It is normal for U to want only d Best. But that is also d source of Ur stress.

What U really wanted was Coffee, NOT Cup, But U all still went for d Best Cups & were eyeing each other's Cups!

If Life Is Coffee, then Jobs, Money & Status in Society are d Cups.

They are just tools to hold & contain life.
Don't let d Cups drive you.
Enjoy D Coffee.!

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rs. 500 note. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this Rs 500 note?".
Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this". He proceeded to crumple the note up. He then asked, "Who still wants it?"

Still the hands were up in the air. "Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty.

"Now who still wants it?"

Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.

No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth Rs 500/-.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

You are special…..
Don't  ever forget it!

Never let yesterday's disappointments  overshadow tomorrow's dreams.

Whatever is written in your Destiny ... Will never change... no matter how much u try..

One Day Death came to a Guy and said: "Hey, today is your last day!"

Guy: "But i'm not ready!".

Death said:  "Well today your name is the first on my list...".
Guy:"Okay, then why don't you take a seat and We will drink a COFFEE before we go?"
Death:"All right.. ".

The Guy gave Death some COFFEE with sleeping pills in it.
Death finished COFFEE and fell into a deep sleep!!!
The Guy took the list & removed his name from top of the list and put at the bottom of the list!

When Death woke up he said to the Guy:"Because you have been so nice to me, now I will start my job  from the BOTTOM of the list.." !!!

Whatever is written in your Destiny ...
Will never change... no matter how much u try..

 So  Shri Krishna Says:
"Tu karta woh hai
jo tu chahata hai,
Par hota woh hai
jo mai chahata hu!
Tu kar woh jo mai chahata hu....
Fir hoga woh jo tu chahta hai....Jsk
